Is an AI company training on my private voice?
Absolutely not. Speech-to-text runs entirely on your phone hardware using local Whisper models. Your raw voice recordings never leave your device under any condition. If you choose to enable external AI summaries, only text is sent using your own API key or secure proxy, and you can switch to No AI mode at any time.
Is this another monthly subscription?
No subscriptions, ever. We believe tools for thought should be bought, owned, and kept for life. Sanctuary is designed as a transparent, one-time purchase that gives you permanent access to local voice capture, on-device transcription, and client-side encryption without recurring fees.
Can I export my reflections if I decide to leave?
Yes. You can export individual high-fidelity WAV audio files and transcripts directly from the app today. Full archive export is in active development. Your reflections are your property, always.
